Coach Jones gave us plenty of positives concerning our UCF Men's Basketball program this year...

Four UCF basketball players were there and Coach had each one of them come forward and talk with us.

They were:
#3 AJ Davis, 6'9" any position on the court...lol...
#4 Daiquan Walker, 6'2' guard
#10 Adonys Henriquez, 6'6" SG mostly
#24 Tacko Fall, 7'6" center

Coach Jones also introduced his new assistant coaches.

Coach Jones said there will be an open to the public scrimmage this coming Sunday at our CFE Arena at 3:00pm. Great opportunity to see the team.

Other comments
Really emphasized how we will be so much better because of DEPTH
Already has been practicing, getting ready for November start on the road.
Really happy with the new 6 players...
Can easily see strength and conditioning being better this year, resulting in improved defense and rebounding.
Players indicated we have been working hard on improving defense
Several talked about good team chemistry

Coach indicated we are still trying to get Tacko eligible however this is a typical process that other schools are involved with also.
All four players there answered questions from the crowd. Good stuff for sure.
Speaking of the crowd the room we were in was packed. I counted over 100 in attendance. Food was good.
Speaking of conditioning, Coach said Justin is at 335 pounds and Tacko was at 300 pounds. I spoke with our strength and conditioning coach after the event Ben O'Donnell and he said last year Justin was well over 350 pounds. They don't want him to lose too much weight because he can it as an advantage under the boards. O'Donnell was very happy with the players workout habits saying they really did well this off season.

If I remember more I will post me later.... Excellent social event.... See you at the open srimmage Sunday at 3:00....
