This is the first weekend that we get recruits on campus with the new staff. Hopefully the weather clears up later.

Most get to campus late this afternoon...as tomorrow is the big campus day/tour...and tomorrow's weather looks good.
The recruits/coaches will be at the UCF Hoop Game tomorrow vs ECU at 4:30 pm as Frost is scheduled to speak to the crowd at halftime in his first public chat with UCF Fans.

I hope it's -15 when Killins visits Babers in a few weeks. He's trying to go after UCF commits
I would love to know the back story about that. I heard that Syracuse low balled Frost and that Frost would only sign a 2 years deal with them.

It's easy to figure out what went down.
Frost played hardball in negotiations with Cuse bc he knew that their Football Program is at a location & resource disadvantage compared to their Division/Conference(FSU, Clemson, and maybe even Louisville) peers.
Ucf offered more money with no state taxes and better area in general to raise a family.
And raise a program. Unless we're talking basketball or lacrosse, Syracuse will never be a major player again.
The weather is going to be amazing today. Very sunny and mid to high 70s.
Syracuse is going to be cold and dreary in the 30s which is warm for them. It's supposed to snow for 4 days and get down to single digits. We talk about uniforms, facilities, P5 vs G5, ACC vs AAC.
Bring these kids on a mini trip to Cocoa Beach for a short time if they aren't from nearby. Set up a tent on the beach and serve them lunch. If that's not a selling point for an 18 year old for the next 4-5 years, then what is?

Warren has been supporting the UCF program for a number of years by showing up on campus and at games. Perhaps Coach Frost could get him on board in some capacity as a coach or motivational speaker. I'd personally like to see that. I believe in rewarding those who further the interests of UCF!
Better yet, show them the shortcut to New Smyrna Beach from campus, drive them onto the beach itself, and freak them out even more.

You do realize how much of a piece of garbage Warren Sapp really is? Been arrested for hookers, domestic abuse, etc. Thrown off the NFL network because of his actions. No joke he is a class A jerk. Personally, his support for UCF is nice, but keep him away from the kids.
True. Have to show them the leisure pool. You don't have that and the talent at Syracuse, Nebraska, etc.

No worries. Sad has been tweeting recruits about the talent.
I'm not suggesting we canonize him as the next saint in the Catholic Church, however, if he has grown and matured he could teach others what not to do in their personal lives. He certainly is NOT hurting UCF by any of his previous actions.

I know that the LA kids decommitted, we had 14 a couple weeks ago, 2 more just committed but we are at 12???
I'm not sure the staff really cares that he is gone. He might not take the OV here
Kwon probably got unofficially pushed out of the class. not pulling an offer but the staff most likely stopped calling
I'm not so sure. Troy Walters was up there recruiting him a week into the job. The coaches might be able to save this class. Hopefully we figure some way to get to 25.
I was really looking forward to showing K_L how to do the Kwon dance.
Things changed once Chinander came into town and took hold of defensive recruiting
