Yeah, this sounds legit. smh

What the heck???????....................I thought it was a hoax at first but saw this on Good Morning America and the news so I'll share the post for a cut....
THANK YOU, MARK ZUCKERBERG, for your forward-thinking generosity! And congrats on becoming a dad!
Mark Zuckerberg has announced that he is giving away $45 billion of Facebook stock. What you may not have heard is that he plans to give 10% of it away to people like YOU and ME! All you have to do is copy and paste this message into a post IMMEDIATELY. At midnight PST, Facebook will search through the day's posts and award 1000 people with $4.5 million EACH as a way of saying thank you for making Facebook such a powerful vehicle for connection. Good luck to all.

Laugh all you want...I'm a gonna be loaded and you ain't!

The worst are the people who copy/paste the "I do not give fb my permission to use my photos..." and then add a "Posting this just in case!"

1. No, you're an idiot and you know you are so you're putting that little caveat to make people think you're not actually as dumb as you are, while still actually posting that nonsense.
2. No company wants your blurry, filtered selfies. (yes I've posted crappy, blurry, filtered selfies but I also don't think anyone would ever want to use them for ads.)

I dont understand. Do repost it here or start a new thread? I could use that Zuckerberg quan. A friend of mine knows a guy who had his picture used for a herpes ad. He didnt refuse permission and when the photo people scrolled through all his posts and didn't see the appropriate repost, they knew they could legally use it. Type "amen" if you're a true Knight fan.

These types of things go all the back to snail mail with chain letters that said similar things if you re-mailed the letter to 20 different people, otherwise you'd go to hell. Then with email with the "new" internet of the mid-late 90's and forwards. I still recall the "forward this" email that said if I sent to 10 people, the Taco Bell chiwauwa would appear on the screen. Oh yeah, the dog never appeared.

This really dumb chick I know posted on her facebook about a secret sister gift exchange and wanting to get people to join her thing. Someone responded that it's bogus and she replied back in defense of it "Lol I have gotten a lot of messages about that. I did it and if it works awesome - if not I am out $10. I followed through with (some other person). Its the same thing as a chain letter - only works if those that say they will do it actually participate"

Yeah, she used chain letters as an example of it's validity. smh. She's a big fan of multi-level marketing shit too.
