From 247 site. Commitment wavering?
Class of 2016 three-star wide receiver Philip Benker told Inside Indiana he plans to visit Indiana June 19-21.
“I don’t have any (other visits) set up,” he said. “(Indiana)’s the only one for sure set up right now.”
Benker – who committed to Central Florida March 20 – received a handful of offers from other schools in May.
“They all came at once during the spring,” he said. “They saw my film, so they came to watch me during spring.”
Benker said initial May offers from Florida International and South Florida led to more offers, from Appalachian State, Temple and, recently, Indiana.
Benker wasn’t sure when, or if, he would make a decision. He maintained his commitment to Central Florida for the time being.
