The new RTX 3080 12GiB has been covered on and off since January.** But more importantly, I've noted a number of IHVs are now offering the RTX 3080 Ti at their MSRP, and yes ... they are available!

E.g., I just picked up an eVGA RTX 3080 Ti for $1,329, which was their list price at introduction.

And there's now the MSI RTX 3080 Ti option at $1,449 that just became available at Amazon too. We're likely to see a few more under $1,500 as well, at actual MSRP.

But this looks to be the 'final days' of the RTX 3080 Ti ... namely the GA102-225 IC.

In its place will be the slightly more expensive RTX 3080 12GiB, with the GA102-220 IC, which is 20-33% slower due to lack of pixels:texels and a slower base clock.

The 'original' RTX 3080 10GiB with the original GA102-200 is nowhere to be found, with the 12GiB replacing it being +50% more ... and even more than the 3080 Ti it is seemingly going to replace (despite being slower).

**Prior coverage on how crappy of a deal the non-Ti 12GiB model is ...

RTX 3090 has become available again for $2K+, let alone RTX 3090 Ti is starting to appear for even more. The former is no faster than the RTX 3080 Ti and the latter a whopping +10%. Although they do feature double the VRAM at 24GiB.

RTX 3070 Ti looks to be the best buy under $1K now, even as low as sub-$800, as the RTX 3080 12GiB is worse than the original.

Okay, other than the RTX 3080 Ti, looks like I was wrong. The RTX 3090 and 3090 Ti are still costly, but ...

We're starting to see the RTX 3060, 3060 Ti, 3070 and 3070 Ti 8-12GiB units starting to hit within 50%, even as low as only +30%, over MSRP.

Suddenly a number of select ODMs/OEMs have older RTX 3080 10GiB (not the newer, slower 12GiB) and RTX 3080 Ti units, even a few RTX 3070 Ti, seem to be available. Looks like old stock is now getting sold, although I've had issues with availability on some sites (sites overwhelmed).
