ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - Having won three in a row for the first time since their first three games of the season, the Knights will aim for their fourth straight on Sunday when they host Memphis at CFE Arena, presented by Florida Hospital. The game is scheduled to tip at 2 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network and the UCF IMG Sports Network.
UCF (12-13, 5-9) went on the road Thursday and earned a 69-55 victory over Tulane behind a career high 21 points from senior Kasey Wilson and a career best 13 assists from sophomore Brandon Goodwin. Winners of three straight, the Knights will aim for number four on Sunday in front of their home fans.
The environment in the Knightmare student section was fantastic when UCF took out USF and Houston in its last two home games, and the Knights will look for that atmosphere again on Sunday. The first 1,400 students will receive a UCF tank top as we attempt to #TankoutTheTigers.
Fans are also encouraged to make, bring, and hold up as many signs as possible on Sunday. The best sign on gameday - as chosen by Knightro - will win 50 dollars.
Additionally, Sunday is Military Appreciation Day at CFE Arena. All active military, reserves, veterans and first responders can receive free tickets to the game. The promotion is online only so click here to reserve your tickets now.
