The DOJ has finally charged a woman who was an NSA contractor for acting as a traitor and leaking information to media outlets.

Not surprisingly, the woman's social media footprint pointed to her being a left wing activist, Sanders socialist, and member of "RESIST!"

I only hope this is the first. Members of media outlets need jail time next.

While I greatly look forward to this dipshit spending hopefully the rest of her life in pound-me-in-the-ass federal prison, I find it funny that you very conveniently left out what she leaked.

This still makes my blood boil that average Joe citizens get charged, while "royalty" (Hillary) who has done far worse are still walking the streets with zero repurcusions.

Curious, is there any sort of whistleblower organization where perceived illegal activity can be disclosed without reprisal? Just wondering if whistleblowers have to go to the media or if there can be some sort of filter before it reaches the public.

Are you not aware that this is highly illegal activity and can greatly damage our national security? Having political activists hand our secrets to shady, scum media outlets for a quick moment of fame?

Or do you genuinely not care since you're part of RESIST! and any means necessary to destroy Trump is ok?

There are 535 members in Congress all with different agendas and perspectives. There are libs that would love to get in front of a camera with a whistleblower to try and take down Trump, just like GOPers would do it for a Dem president, or Rand Paul would do for corrupt intelligence. There will always be someone in there that will run with it.

Sounds logical. Can you link / reference where one politician in US history disclosed unlawful acts of the government? Like a Watergate scandal or disclosing that the NSA is spying on every US citizen ect... Police don't whistle-blow on police. Politicians don't whistle-blow on politicians. Hence, the whole reason for a Free Press.

I think you mean Trump giving the Russians (and the public) classified information because he is a moron. He is lucky they can claim the presidential power to declassify info to make it look like it was planned

Technically yes it wasn't legal. Was it detrimental to US security? Of course. But that's the perks of being the president, it's not against the law to make bad decisions.

Hillary blatantly, 100% broke the law and has had zero legal repurcusions.

Again, I think you got so blinded by the fact that a leaker is getting jail time that you forgot to read what was leaked.

Also this entire post sounds like something that would come out of iran or NK. Yes leaking classified information is bad, but it is not against the law to post negative things about the president.

Obama pardoned Manning, and Manning did far, far worse than either Snowden or Winter.

Snowden and Winter leaked selective information. Manning, other than his earlier leak of the Apache footage (which was selective), dumped the entire cables! He literally neutered American diplomacy and trust.

So if Obama pardoned Manning ... what's that say to leakers?
