Finally watched Bird Box

I thought it was good but I wanted at least a hint as to what "things" are creating the visions that lead to suicide. They didn't even attempt to explain what they are or where they're from. I guess that's part of the strategy but it left me wanting something more.

They didn't clear up why some people could see without committing suicide either. I thought the movie was good. Based on the holes there will be another Bird Box.

I think those people were evil and psychotics. They already saw horrible shit in their head so they welcomed the “whatever they are” beings showing them more fuked up stuff.

To everyone else what they were seeing was so horrific it drove them to suicide

I, too was a little disappointed in not seeing the bad guys. Overall, not a bad way to kill 2 hours.

What would happen to people slightly crazy? Would they just partially hurt themselves?

My take was that any fruitcake who saw them became an evil servant who helped encourage other people to "see the beauty." That explains why the bearded guy allowed into the house was able to initially appear 'normal' to the other people.
