finally someone who sees the truth..We need a new coach.*
I'm pretty sure #ORTO means "On the Road To Orlando"
I'm not a big fan of the knee jerk reaction, and I don't easily hop on the fire the coach bandwagon, however, coach Rooney has been given the time and resources to implement his vision for our baseball program.
I think so, the "berg" was built as a state of the art facility in 2001, and upgraded in 2013 to accommodate more fans, still waiting for phase two upgrades. We had the highest fan attendance in our first year in the AAC (1492), and will probably be second behind ECU this year. Besides, even UConn whom you admit has worse facilities than us fared much better in conference. Do we really need to build a brand-new baseball stadium every 15 years to say we have given the program the resources needed? Does that mean we get a new football stadium in 2022?Agree with much of what you said but are you sure that Rooney has been given all the resources he needs?
Schools like Memphis and USF have been able to build brand new stadiums in recent years...ECU did that a long time ago (built a top facility).
Tulane has a fairly new stadium (built after Katrina).
Houston had a nice stadium years ago.
Cincinnati got a beautiful stadium some 8-10 years ago.
Only UCONN has worse facilities in the AAC than UCF.

For a HS Team and/or an ASUN Baseball Program (not Stetson, as they already had their beautiful public/private stadium built).
The 930 seat "Berg" took almost 2 years to build since the contractor screwed up the field level/stadium base...so it had to be basically started all over.
The Berg was UCF's first real baseball stadium (compared to the original baseball complex on the other side of campus which was basically wooden bleachers and I think Port-o-johns....but I don't think anyone ever called it "state of the art" when it was built.
UCF Baseball fans were just thankful to call something home...especially after going to Tinker Field for 2 seasons.
NOTE: "New" stadiums don't have to be built every 15-20 years, but yes, most college football stadiums have been renovated over time...as many of their foundations/original stadium designs date back to the 1920's - 1930's.
Many college baseball stadiums have been "renovated" over the last decade or two as well (FSU and UF to name 2 nearby) but they are not nearly as old (in most cases) as their original football stadiums.
