Florida's Black Bear Hunt

What I wish never happened was the state expanding to the populations we have now. You continue to build outward you infringe on habitat.

You can't fit 10 lbs of sh*t in a 5 lb bag. You either have to get rid of some sh*t or get a bigger bag. Since our govt can't say no to developers, you have to get rid of the sh*t.

It sucks but at the end of the day, the bear population will be healthier for it. In the meantime, enjoy some rugsteaks with a fine craft beer.

Florida is doing a terrible job managing development. In MA, there are nature areas all over the place right in the middle of urban sprawl. Developers would love a piece of that, but the communities have said no. One thing I give credit to the liberals for.

I was out hunting Sat morning and evening, saw a fox, coyote and albino squirrel, no bear. Would have liked a new rug.

All I will tell you is that as an avid hunter and fisherman in several states over the years Florida has the worst game management practices of anyone I've encountered

Every state I've hunted in has at least one completely butt hole stupid hunting law:

Ohio: No rifles allowed, this leads to people hunting with "pistols" chambered in rifle calibers.
Georgia: Must use rimfire while hunting hogs unless its deer firearm season. Yes a .22 lr will stop a 300+ pound wild boar.
Florida: Can't use magazines larger than 5 rounds on semi auto rifles, but 25 round 12 gauge drums are fine.

The 22 most use is 22 magnum , which has considerable force when you consider bullet size and hollow point. I love shooting 22 mag. Too bad ammo is more expensive for 22 mag vs 22 longs.

Why do faux raging tree huggers only care about furry or cute animals. What about the armadillos and opossums that are slaughtered daily?
