I was looking at the leftover B12 schools ticket prices to get an idea what UCF might charge once we join and how much UCF might be able to increase it’s football ticket revenue.
Because there are so many different ways to configure stadiums and pricing, it’s not always possible to match things exactly, and some of the schools websites do not have much detail on their club level seating. But as near as I can figure, here are the lowest and highest prices I saw for a few different comparisons.
A few schools (Kansas, Iowa St and TCU) had already pulled their season ticket prices down from their websites, so they are not included. Data is total price…ticket price + required donation.
UCF Tower Club $2,000
Oklahoma St $2,600. Texas Tech $3,350
Other schools looked like they had club areas but did not have the pricing on the website, sort of like UCF does not have the pricing for the loge seating along the upper walkway on their season ticket graphic.
UCF Section 110/210 (Home side 50 yard line upper and lower level) $1,200
Texas Tech $675 upper level
Kansas St $1,660 upper level (chairbacks in this section. Rest of stadium bleacher seats)
Other schools do not seem to have “club” amenities in these areas like UCF does.
UCF Section 112/211G (Home side 20 yard line upper and lower level) $1,000
Texas Tech & Oklahoma St $575
Baylor $885
Other schools do not seem to have “club” amenities in these areas like UCF does.
UCF Section 114 (Home side goal line lower level) $450
Baylor $350
Oklahoma St $525
UCF Section 213 (Home side goal line upper level) $300
Texas Tech $225
Kansas St & WVU $490
UCF Section 115 (Corner End Zone lower level) $200
Texas Tech & Baylor $350
Oklahoma St $525
UCF Section 215 (Corner End Zone upper level) $99
Texas Tech $150
Oklahoma St $400
Section 201 (End zone) $150
Texas Tech $275 (lower level)
Baylor $325 (upper level)
Oklahoma St $400 upper level, $525 lower level
So, our sideline seats are already comparable to the leftover B12 schools, but I think we probably have premium seating benefits that the other schools do not have so we can probably increase those a little bit.
Meanwhile, our end zone and corner end zone seating is significantly less expensive and these UCF sections did NOT see a price increase from 2019 to 2021 like the rest of the stadium did.
