This is a nice move for the LB room. If you can't add another great athlete, adding a GA that can spend all of their time improving the LBs we have is a good way to improve the room/position group.
GA's cannot be on field coaches...NCAA rule. Whether they are allowed to review film and "coach" in the film room I am not sure.

Former Auburn star linebacker Deshaun Davis joining the UCF Football coaching staff as his first college job.
Unless they changed rules since 2014, GAs coach wherever they are asked. Most do film because the other coaches don’t have as much time. But this guy worked with 3rd string and scout team.
