I'm not posting this simply because we didn't get Dino. No sour grapes etc. I think Frost is a 10x better option for what we need. I just thought it was worth sharing.
My wife and I just got back from visiting my sister in law and her husband, Rich. He played DB (mostly scout) at Arizona back in the mid 1990's. We were discussing the coaching carousel and Coach Frost. I happened to mention that we almost/reportedly hired Dino Babers. He started laughing and said "holy shit, Dino Babers? I havent heard that name in a long time." It turns out that Dino was the WR coach at Arizona while he was there. He went on to say that he was the biggest prick of a coach. That he was the kind of coach that would rip on walk on players until the point they'd quit. He used to punish scout team players when they beat the 1st team offense. "A Grade-A asshole that the entire team tried to avoid." I know I was sold with Dino's press conference demeanor but apparently that was/is an act.
