We've had some former UCF players go on and do great things in the NFL, but I'd love to see a former linebacker and/or a former defensive lineman become Pro Bowl-caliber players. I'm not counting Bruce Miller since he's now a fullback. Maybe Leger Douzable, Troy Davis, or Terrance Plummer have the potential to be a star NFL player? Thoughts?

Douzable was a valuable back-up for the Jets last year, but is closer to the end of his career, especially since the Jets have him listed as a 3rd string DE. He may make his name as a reporter, which he has been working on in the off-season. Troy Davis started the year on the Cowboys, but he's not there now, have no idea where he is.

The last report out of Redskins camp has Plummer working with the 2nd and 3rd team, hopefully a good sign.
