Free 4 Rivers BBQ

I'm not going to lie, I bought Cabana seat for the 4 Rivers access, now it's free. This is how you make UCF Great Again!
And to think, it'll only cost you several hundred dollars per seat to have the "free" food.....that is if you do no eating and drinking while tailgating.

"and industrial fans" Cool, I love industrial music. especially 80s Industrial, skinny puppy, kmfdm, ministry, pig face, NIN, etc. LOL.... I joke...

Having free food definitely makes it tempting to upgrade seats!

Next I need to see the words "FREE CRAFT BEER". LOL.... now I'm not joking...

Many are paying more for just bleacher seats on the West Side without any food or without the ability to purchase adult beverages.

One of the best parts about the Cabana Club (other than bringing in lots more $$$ compared to the old sunshine booster east side bleachers in the past) is that you can hangout with friends during the game...as most of us previously have tix far scattered from each other.

Hope UCF continues to upgrade their premium amenities to keep the badly needed $$$ flowing.

Plus close parking, private bathrooms, seat backs, craft beer, tvs to watch other games and shade. I'm going to spend as much time in there as I can this fall.

The only bathrooms on the 2nd level concourse at that...so that is a nice benefit...and yes, just getting into the club and into the shade...especially for the East Side Stands...which are obviously in the sun for the longest time...those are really nice perks.

Believe it now costs $1,250 just to get a softball parking pass (comes with seating priority) but that doesn't even include the cost of your "bleacher" non-premium tickets...whereas $1,800 you get priority parking plus ALL the benefits of the club...AND, that includes your donation too.

Its a shame that didn't decide this 4 months ago during renewal period...as I bet a lot more would have "upgraded" with this new opportunity.

I can see more businesses buy these tix...as their customers can arrive early and start eating without them...plus, they obviously wouldn't have any "food" bills to worry about (just drinks).

I have said this before. Most alumni do not want to sit in the east stands because of the sun beating down on you. It won't matter if you allow beer or give away free food.

We should put the opposing fans behind their bench and then put students behind them. Move season ticket holders to the south end zone.

I love my seats on the east side. I'm a florida boy so the heat doesn't matter to me. Plus, most of our games are late in the day or evening anymore so the sun only matters while tailgating.

I did not renew my Cabana seats this year. It was about $1,815 for 2 seats. The free food thing wasn't enough. I'm sure it's not going to be buffet style. Maybe, if they included free drinks and/or lowered the price to $1400 I would have renewed. For anyone who is thinking about purchasing them, i would recommend the side seats if available, as the Cabana access is super easy. I wanted one of those (preferably in the first 4-6 rows, but they weren't available at the time of renewal), I kind of felt pressured to buy them and so did a few friends. It was kind of like "if you don't renew and pay now, we can't guarantee that you will get anything good." Turned a few people off, but instead, i reserved some decent regular seats just not to be completely shut out of anything good.

Now, after the relocation process started, I'm at the 40-41 yard-line on the visitor's side 3 rows up for half the price. Garage F is close, but a parking lot would have been nicer for tailgating. They said the cheapest one was $1,750. Garage F was a $500 donation.

I wanted the close up seat experience with the the everyday fans. A lot of the Cabana seats were bought by corporations and were empty or constantly changing fans. Before the Cabana, we had a nice, fun, consistant group in section 127.
It's just a preference thing, but I rather tailgate for hours and sneak in drinks. I had a hard time paying $150 dollars per game when we kept losing. The parking was nice, so was getting out of the sun and rain. However, when I saw that there were no early afternoon home games early in the season, I was stoked and that sealed the deal.
I definitely wouldn't rip anyone for buying the Cabana seats as it was definitely a luxury, but I'm just one of those fans who wants to be a few rows from the action.

I was actually able to get an obstructed view seat in the first row for $650 each, that and the BBQ did it for me.

It's a railing, but only blocks your view if you are sitting down.
You took my seats. Lol. They said those were all sold. If you got them for $650 instead of $900, then kudos to you. I would have taken that in a minute.

Great thing about UCF Football is that there are seating, parking, tailgating options that will most likely be suitable for a variety of groups.

You mentioned TAILGATING...and yes, even just getting into ground lots to tailgate is expensive (comes with obviously seating priority)...as Softball now sells out ($1,250 minimum donation before tix purchase), the $1,800 for 2 Cabana Club Seats...but that also includes ground level tailgate parking too.

Most in the Stadium E Lots and Softball can't imagine how it is to "tailgate" after you have to park in a Parking Garage...hence why those spots are so valuable/cherished.

Cabana Club isn't for everyone...just like bleacher seats without backs in the end zone are not for everyone either.

I'm happy when UCF improves the fan experience/stadium experience/tailgating experience on game day...and adding a new perk for free food in the Cabana Club is a nice improvement that I'm sure will be enjoyed by all of those members.

There were still a couple left if you want to purchase some.

Unfortunately they put me in a garage. No ground level parking left.

Oh...well...that's actually good sign that most of the Cabana Parking had already been sold...any probably another reason for your "discounted" club membership (in addition to front railing seats).

There were 12 seats left when I looked a month ago. 8 were $900 each and 4 were $650. I got 2 of those. With this "free" food, there is no reason to tailgate. I'll get to the game whenever the Club opens, eat/drink and watch other games until kickoff.

Yeah! I park in lot D2 and go to the Alumni Center. You can get a bottomless cup of beer for $5 and they have Bubba Lou's BBQ there for a reasonable price.

My seats are in section 212. I get shade from the Roth tower at 3:30pm. I'm not rich enough to hang out with you high rollers, but I have a great time!

Wow! $5 bottomless beer and good BBQ. That's amazing! They don't even tell me about this. I want to check it out or Burger-U, especially if I'm in a garage.

I just wrote to them to get out of Garage F and get into lot D-1 or D-2. Lot C1 is closed down. I gave a $500 donation and lots D-1 and D-2 are $350. Hope there are spaces left. Sometimes it's nice to walk past memory mall or the road that winds past Barnes and Noble before a game. It gets you pumped up.

And on Saturday's they have other college games on a couple of big screens. The Alumni center closes up 1 hour before game time, then I head to Burger U for a final beer and to watch the parade.

You must be the only one I know that likes Bubbalous. I work right next to Bubbalous and never see anyone there. Every time we thought to give it another try, it has been dry, fake smoke tasting, and cold.

Obvious photoshop*

Are you talking about Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ by UCF on Alafaya? That's the one I'm talking about and there's always a line. At least there was when I lived there.

Yep. Alafaya and Challenger. 10 years ago it was ok. Now, the only thing holding that place up is the liquor bar that was added.

Poppycock.

Something must've happened since I left in 2014 because, to me, 4r is to BBQ what McDonald's is to burgers.

Even our vendors refuse to buy us lunch there now. They have like 3 people working the place and they stand around chatting to each other. Drive by it everyday for lunch and there are maybe 6 or 7 cars in the parking lot at any given time.

Ugh. How the mighty have fallen. Breaks my heart.

I blame vegans and Pokemon Go for this horseshit.

Maybe the free 4R is to distract attendees from the neon colored plastic fish and trolling nets randomly sprawled about the 'club' section.
