No. 5, Harris is a homegrown Pokelando product! He has connections all over South Florida. Y'all missed on Kamala, so target Tim!

No. 4, Talent! Harris is recruiting like his hair... er... head is on fire! Swint wants to stick with the Knights. The No. 1 juco RB is on board. Myles Montgomery appears to be staying put. All the players returning and staying true to UCF suggest Harris is the next big baller.

No. 3, Harris can hold the staff together. All of the current coaches won't have to have their contracts be bought out by UCF, and Harris can continue what Gus started: Another year of Addison Williams!

No. 2, All the money UCF saves on hiring a new head coach can be poured into retooling the already stacked roster that Gus left. The Knights won't miss a beat.

And No. 1 reason to hire Tim Harris, Jr. as head coach is so it can be Hurricane Season all year long!

Gus is still on the Auburn payroll and is gearing up for Phase 2 of his Auburn revenge tour! He destroyed UCF for the 2017 debacle. Now, he has set his sites on FSU for the 2013 title game.

(An Auburn fan told me that and I thought it was pretty hilarious.)

I have provided two high quality, compelling troll threads for entertainment purposes only. No way in hades UCF is going to hire Tim Harris Jr. as head coach.

On to serious matters...

I think UCF will hire a household name. For the record, I wanted Gus to hire Gary Patterson as DC. I wanted it for the last two seasons. I would not be surprised if UCF hired Patterson as head coach, given his familiarity with the 4-2-5 and his success in the Big 12. I think Gus avoided hiring Patterson for fear that Patterson might ultimately take over the program.
