O-Town!
As much as it pains me to say, but this season is a blessing in disguise. Frost is out and killing it. Bargnare, a Dr. Phillips product, has a ridiculous number of offers, would be awesome if we can keep our local guys home.

Here is a comment from from the Slant, "But now that Coach Frost came over, it's brought a lot more excitement to recruiting for me, I can tell you that. It's got me thinking a lot more about going there now."

The article is by Chris Hays, a Gator homer, but it's still a good read.

How is any of this "killing it"? Did the kid commit to UCF? If not, then it doesn't mean much at all other than another kid with an offer that says he's interested. Not saying it's not a good thing but lets just let the guy do his thing for a year or two before we start labeling anything as "killing it" or "getting killed". "Killing it" is getting us bavk to playing for titles.

Really ? Come on it is the first we've heard about recruiting this year. That's something after 0-12

I'm lurking on Coach Frost's Twitter account and see all these high school coaches posting highlight videos of their kids. GOL didn't even use Twitter. This is going to be like shooting fish in a barrel.

That is where O'leary couldn't relate to young players. Not sure how someone could be an athletic director and not understand the importance of a social media presence.

You missed the point mattropolis - we're now recruiting local kids, with success in less than a week at the helm....something O'leary never did.

This will definitely change the recruiting process for us. It's nice to have someone up to speed on social media.
This is very similar to the situation here at Nebraska with previous staff. Pelini and Co were recruiting with the telegraph compared to what Riley and his assistants are doing. Riley is playing xbox while Pelini was stuck in Atari mode.
Congrats on the hire. UCF is now the second favorite team here in Huskerland. Go Knights!

Come on, you're killing everything this board considers holy. Anything that has the tiniest bad in it is the worst thing ever, and anything with the tiniest good in it is the best thing ever. Please don't ask us to see shades of gray or to get all the information before judging.

We just signed one of the fastest high school players in the country.

After being 0-12 and sitting through hell this year home and far away am I going to get excited about any positive at all??

Hell yes and I'm going to overhype the shit out of it!!!

Go back on your medications. Like others have said, we went thro a crap season, if you can't get excited about this news, go back to usf.

Nice pick up, but "I'm Waiting For The Ink To Dry." LOL. Can we still use that cliche' with Scott Frost? Or, is it still the "Last one smiling"?
