FSU having a meltdown

ESPN/CFP snubbing ACC was a good catalyst for expediting the fall of another conference and the bolstering B10/SEC.

In just a couple years, SEC/B10 has picked up the top programs from PAC, B12, ACC. Next step is to break away.

Won’t happen despite many saying this

The Federal Government will get involved..you can’t leave that many Public Universities out

The P5 was informally that, it doesn't mean the rest of the conferences can't play football and compete for awards. It will just be a new tier.

SEC/B10 are not becoming bigger conferences just so they cannibalize themselves. ESPN campaigned prior to FSU/Louisville game to exclude FSU regardless of outcome. There has just been so many signs pointing to a consolidated league, those conferences are going to want to make a minimum of double/triple everyone else.

Looking back, what a bunch of dummies...they could have joined the SEC 30 yrs ago and now have made the same amount of $$ as Mississippi State and Vandy, locked in to the top conference in the nation. They took the easy route. As I've said before, I don't feel sorry for them.

And I guarantee Ms.Molly has never touched a real machine gun.

30 years ago the SEC perception wasn’t like it is now. I still don’t see why Big 10 is looked at as being elite. It’s OSU and Michigan and then a bunch of ok teams. I can’t watch most Big 10 games. Boring.

Yep, just a couple moves away. Find homes for Clemson FSU, Notre Dame and maybe Miami or UNC, and they’ll break away and have their own equivalent AFC/NFC…..definitely the direction it’s heading.

I think we're seeing a consolidation to 3 super conferences.

I'd guess 4 ACC teams split off to the Big10 and SEC.

UNC, Clemson, UM, Virginia.

If it holds at that, Big12 absorbs Duke, NCST, Pitt and VT.

Maybe there's a toss-up with Duke/UNC, depending upon how Brett Y can spin the best bball conference scenario.

B12 could be a super conference for basketball, but in no way are they on the same level as SEC or B10 for football. You can't take the unwanted Pac and ACC teams and call it a superconference.

Honestly I think Yormark is positioning for basketball knowing football is not realistic.
