FSU v. USF

420 yards of offense in the first quarter! Might USF surrender 70?
Update: USF's last 5 possessions -- 4 three-and-outs and an INT on first play of next possession. Can you spell meltdown? An FSU running back already as 226 yds in 9 carries!

This could get really ugly. Most AAC defenses can't recover from this type of onslaught. They just get more and more tired because they lack depth.

Could we see:

70 points?

500 yards rushing?

700 yards of offense??

I certainly hope so! [roll]

Nice ending to the half. That debacle just made Milton and Frost last week look like Brady and Bellichick compared to USF.

Q. Flower throws a nice deep ball go route but can't hit any short intermediate throws. One dimensional as a Passer.

The USF offense relies on the running game with Mack setting up the deep shots. Probably will work vs most AAC opponents.

Look. There's always a chance. This
Pic totally illiterates that fact.

At first I thought that there was a huge amount of FSU fans but when they showed stands at halftime those seats are just red...for the Bucs. Most unfortunate look for USF.

That's IF the can re-group the rest of the year (don't know their schedule) and their opponents fail to look at game tape and have no running game. Yes you could say FSU's back is causing a lot of these yards, but their are huge holes to run through. Looks like even an AAC team could be successful v usf.

USF lost the very good D Coordinator Allen to Indiana and the replacement R. Woodie looks over his head as a gameday coach

Looks like USFs second team RB blew out his knee. Mack is out as well, but maybe just poked in the eye.

Now USF is running all over FSU. Clearly, neither team has any defense or can they pass. What happens when two explosive ground teams meet each other!
Final stats: combined 737 rushing yards for the two teams! 8.4 and 7.1 yd/carry for the two teams and 10 rushing TDs! USF had only 5 completions, but for 161 yd, or a 32 yds a piece! I think we can score on them, too, by that point in the season.

The key to beating USF is stopping Flowers from running the ball and stopping the deep ball. Let him pass underneath and let the backs try to beat you running it.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves and talk trash about anybody until we actually do something on the field, and losing a close game doesn't count. We have one win against an FCS school. In my book the losing streak is alive and well. Let's hope we take care of business tonight.

not going to lie I'm still not confident till this team can string a few wins in a row vs D1 competition & all the Freshman on the road worry me some

What about FSU: in two games gave up almost 100 points and tons of yardage? We need UF, FSU, and Miami to lose a few more times because it will really help Frost establish his presence in the state recruiting-wise. It's hard for UCF to dominate with just conditioning and a winning system unless we also start getting a fair share of 4 star recruits!
