Funny how differently some protests are handled.

The first day of California's special legislative session erupted into chaos before it began. Dozens of unmasked Black rioters some of them armed, shoved their way past state troopers to pack the gallery overlooking the state's House of Representatives.

The clash was a manifestation of the anger and frustration from these far-left Marxists.

HA! OF COURSE that didn't happen!!! If THAT had been the case, a RIOT SQUAD would have already been on the scene ready to wipe those low-life protesters off the face of the Earth.

In reality, it was just a bunch of gun-toting, good ole White boys in Idaho who bust their way into their State House. So no reason to arrest them -- in fact, let 'um come on in after breaking down a State House door and let them make themselves comfy. [eyeroll]

Imagine if these protesters were Black

There are literally cities burning at the hands of left wing terrorists while the police do little to nothing, and yet this clown is here crying like this?

Whoever broke the door should be arrested and fined, assuming it wasn't an accident. As far as the rest, I can kind of go either direction. Packing the gallery at the state house is a good form of civil disobedience but I'm not sure what kind of message they were trying to send. The way I read the bill these guys were protesting, it seems like they are trying to create a different standard for the government than for citizens but the language is really convoluted.

The same linked article noted that the response to these guys was in stark contrast to what happened there in 2014 when dozens of advocates pressuring lawmakers to pass LGBTQ protections were arrested for standing silently in the Senate Chamber hallway.

I dont know the details of that situation, but if it was like this one nobody should have been arrested.

Some of the protesters were armed. Tell me with a straight face that any State Capital would have 'looked the other way' if the gun-toters were Black.

It seems like you are just looking for some kind of equivalency test to be mad about these guys. What is your opinion on what these people did, without the comparisons?
