This is a flawed study. Plus I see half of it is BS already.
Does it account for people where English is their second language?
Does it account for people that moved to the States and use classic English (Canada, England, etc): Note the border states in the north, can tell this is skewed already, many words ending in "ia" or "a" are spelled differently in classic English (often -ea is used interchangeably). So are many biological terms.
