I joined this board in 2001 because I loved recruiting. This was in the days long before recruiting became main stream, when I had to create chat rooms on Prodigy and AOL to talk UCF recruiting. I had hoped for more splash recruits from the GOL regime, but got used to a getting a few highly ranked HS kids with the usual hidden gems and a bunch of role players mixed in.
Now with a potential new head coach, will we finally realize our potential and recruit big, recruit local, and recruit Florida? Is now the time when we really turn the corner for good, with recruits other meaningful programs want and speed all over the field?
