Gabriel Davis, from..........UCF!

As a Dolphins fan, it was a nice scenario… watch Gabe represent UCF scoring 4 TDs, but the Bills lose in heartbreaking fashion. Really would’ve liked to see them have a chance in OT though

Gabe Davis was in beast mode. That's going to provide a nice payday when he renews his contract.

It’s too bad for him that he has another year in his rookie deal.

Maybe Buffalo, instead of signing an unneeded WR in the off season since Davis was there and a proven WR, they could have got a defense?

Probably not. 35 catches during the season. Unless they get rid of a few WRs in the off season, it will be 35 catches next year. I'll bet they'll be as stupid this year as last, and sign yet again another WR free agent.

Buffalo had one of the best defenses in the league this year. Individual circumstances with Mahomes being insane just got the best of them. And I am no Buffalo fan

Maybe they should have put Diggs in at DB.
I was wondering what happened around the 2 minute warning.

It was the head/upper body fake. Gabe has the ability to run his routes even while making other parts of his body seem like they are doing something else. Dirty. Almost undefendable. Notice he keeps running his route when he does the head/upper body fake. He lost no speed or direction.

I harp on this all the time with DBs in college. It’s brutal to watch kids run all over the field and have no idea how turn their head to look for the ball. I know it’s hard but any DB coach should be drilling his kids every day on running with your head looking back for the ball. You want to be an elite DB you have to be able to run with your head searching for the ball. It’s the first thing I look for in assessing our DBs. Kids start doing this and they get a lot better as players.

So, Mike Hughes falls down on two of GD's Td's. Smells fishy to me.
No. The first TD his own player (Sneed) inexplicably grabbed him and pulled Hughes to the ground. I have no clue why his teammate would have done this.

#21 wasn’t chasing him down on the 75 yd TD catch.

He got toasted on the 3rd TD.

On the final TD Hughes was back there but they were playing some kind of zone or something because they were all looking at each other after Gabe scored, like the other guy was supposed to do something.

I thought my Seaturkeys should have grabbed him in the 3rd round. Metcalf, Davis and Lockett would be very difficult to deal with.

That said, he’s been learning from Diggs, Sanders, Beasley and others so that is a lot of knowledge and experience of what it takes to be a professional.

This is a big part of his development. He's got a stable of talented vets to work with. Guys that have played in big games and had success. On the surface, they seem to have great chemistry in the WR room.
