Gamecock fan here...got a question about you asst. coaches.

Hey there folks.. I am sure you guys are as thrilled as we Gamecock fans are that this season has finally ended. Funny how things can go down so fast. I share your misery.

One question. You had a similar situation as we did with your coach leaving in the middle of the season. Just wondering if you still have all your assistant coaches on staff? I ask because we do and am wondering if that is something that is normal.

I am really not happy with the idea of any of our staff still representing my school on the recruiting trail. I worry about these coaches looking for jobs and also recruiting.....seems like a not so good combination there.

Any insight you guys can provide me about your situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank.....and good luck on your search. Thant game we played a few years back was a slobber knocker. Pads were definitely popping.

Yes. Unfortunately all of our assistant coaches are still here. I think it is normal. It has to be bc it takes time to get a new coach at any position. So HC may leave, all the assistants stay and then a new HC cleans house.

I have been reading some of your threads here and I was surprised at the similarities of what you guys had going on and what we had up in Columbia. It seems that a large part of the complaints are about an old coach taking his foot off the pedal and letting recruiting and staffing be less of priority. We had the same thing with Spurrier.

It is very frustrating to see a program struggle to build and then once you get there it is wasted by sheer laziness. Anyway....wish you guys well and thanks again.
