Gators tried to avoid UCF?

Not surprised we seen that pattern in the past. Sure they believe they are entitled and would give us a 2 for 1 scheduling. We will take the one game on a neutral field.

Let's not get too full of our selves here, for the gators going 6-6 and being in a bottom tier bowl game is like our 0-12. It has nothing to do with us. If Gator twitter makes a bunch of tweets hyping up the Gasparilla bowl, their fanbase will call them out on pumping up playing in a toilet bowl and other fanbases will laugh at them.

Lets also not forget prior to being announced we had fans decrying playing the gators as not good.

Now look at them. :p. Sold out stadium and win or lose it's guaranteed to be a fun time tailgaiten and partying in Tampa for this game.

The winners are the fans and the younger players that get to play in a high profile game to get experience....and, also Bragging rights between Gators and UCF.

Also, ESPN for getting many eyeballs on their Tv Sets right before Christmas.

The Losers are Knight and Gator Haters...Also, NFL players with stars in their eyes...& of course perennial losers, Duh*Bulls....LOL...Who have to clean up the mess we are going to leave in the tailgatin' parking lot. Well, at least we are supplying jobs to USF alumni.

Most sport's media seem to be picking the Gators to win. A few of my friends expect gators to win. There still has been many other distractions for the media to look at this game closer and I suspect will see more next week.

It's an interesting matchup. Both Schools would benefit from winning. For those trying to belittle this game are those who just don't enjoy watching a game unless it's the superbowl...And, then just to watch the commercials. This is going to be a fun game to watch regardless of record and players sitting out.

Your mileage may vary!

Go Knights, Beat The Gators.

These kinds of matchups are what bowl games should be. With the CFP games cheapening the rest of the NY6, and the rest of the bowls taking a further step down in people's minds because of it, every effort should be made to make bowl games meaningful, rather than tiptoeing around power schools and their desires to avoid embarrassment.

It's like the difference between playing to win vs playing to not lose.

Sold out stadium, eyeballs on sets, hopefully someone is paying attention.

I’m still waiting to see game day attendance. A lot of people were buying max amount of tickets expecting to flip them. I don’t think the demand is actually that high.

Both Schools sold their allotment and added more. That means the tickets are sold. Now, Butts in seats might be something different. But, tickets have been sold out.

Here is first prediction that is pro UCF I have seen...maybe the media types are starting to look closer at this. https://sportschatplace.com/cfb-pic...3-21-college-football-picks-predictions-odds/
Line has been dropping with each news of players from UF jumping to the portal. The players that will now get to start are looking to impress. Still only way I see UCF winning or keeping it close is if Bowser runs 30+ times for 150-200 yards or Keene actually does something with the ball. What was on display against USF would lose more often than not even against bad teams.

I
I think they are e tickets. I read my email from UCF and it said come Thursday or Friday this week we would have them. We can't sell them but I am almost certain we can give them Away or swap .
You can sell them. Post on Facebook or in here and they pay through one of the many money transfer apps.

Back to the thread ... did you see the recruiting today? This is why they don't want to play us. Anything that looks like we are in the same league as they are in is bad for their recruiting. We've had no problem taking some of the UM recruits recently. UF and FSU will be on the same recruiting level as us going forward in the Big-12 :) The future of college football is going to see the Big-12 returning to a place of prominence. Let's not be as anal as the other fan bases in wanting to fire coaches or complain if we don't win it all every year, please... that's part of the reason their teams are dipping as they are impatient...

As an old-timer I'm just very happy that we have finally made it to the P5 arena. I still hold fresh in my memory the rug being pulled out from underneath us when the invitation to the Big East turned into the AAC G5 days.

Our recruiting today has nothing to do with this game. Selling UCF tickets to UF fans to make a buck is wrong.

Why do you believe it‘s uf fans who are buying the tix UCF fans are selling?
Because UCF fans already bought them through school. If people on Stubhub are buying them, odds are it’s a scalper that will resell higher or a T Shirt UF fan who doesn’t buy through UF.

There are no more tix available through UCF. So it is also likely UCF fans have turned to the secondary markets to purchase their tickets as well. I sold five extra tix I had through StubHub and know for a fact they went to UCF fans.
