Yeah, I understand. Three whole months seems like a long time.
The trial should have started back in september like it was supposed to. We have all the evidence we will ever need, so why delay the trial?

Seems odd. They are prosecuting other crimes between now and then I would assume. Why wait on this one due to "covid"?
So much for equal protection and the right to a fair and speedy trial. If I was one of defense attorneys, I'd be watching the docket pretty closely and if any other murder trials come up in between now and then I'd file a suit to have it dismissed .
The defendants might have waived their right to a speedy trial. Unless they got a big set of donations for defense, the state can bury them with evidence and paperwork and made it hard to mount a capable defense.
