Liberia notwithstanding, its an interesting offer for African Americans today. I wonder if during the Civil rights fight era this kind of offer had been made, would people have taken it? Would they be better off today if they had? Obviously the blended society experiment didn't work and probably never will as we see continued balkanization and self imposed segregation.
