Glad I'm Not A Patriots Fan...

What a screw job by the league. This "deflator" accusation stuff is total B.S.

Wonder what the PSI of our footballs are?

Screw job by the league? BS this was a screw job by Brady...it appears he's been doing it for years (per other NFL QB's).....hell, the practice of using "special " footballs was widespread in the NFL until 2007 when the new rules came into play....now Brady apparently found a way around the new rules....

the guy needs to sit for 4 games and the Pats need to be punished....this bs that certain guys can do whatever they want because they're "Tom Brady" is wrong...and that goes for any others who are doing the same thing....this will stop the cheating....and believe me, deflating the balls for significantly better grip for throwing and catching in cold weather is breaking the rules....

if you prefer minimum psi make sure it's at 12.5....and then show us you're a great QB by playing within the rules...otherwise, no matter what the results, your stats are tainted....

This is a big advertisement job for the NFL. To create buzz, to keep people talking and get more people interested. When you have deflategate leading the national news, not one day, not two days, but THREE days in recent memory - you know this is pulling in more in advertising benefits than all the superbowls for the last 10 years. Secretly, the NFL and the owners must be ecstatic about all the buzz this has caused around the game. Good for them. Now they need to start compensating their players and their retirements fairly.

Brady and Bellicheck are addicted to getting the edge. It's like gambling for them. They are so bored that it has become almost a daily part of their football lives. Toying with the league. It's almost like they are saying that they are so much better and advanced than everyone else that it's like "catch me if you can."
I'm not a Patriots fan, but we all know that these shenanigans probably have made absolutely no difference in game outcomes. They slaughtered the Colts.

So we're to ignore the two discussing the price it would take for one to de-inflate footballs? (been on a cruise for the week so if the part where the two discussed that has been disproven then ignore) The investigation didn't have to go into the "scientific" crap, it just needed to focus on the two discussing the bribes.

The report stated something about based on the evidence it was more likely than not Brady was involved. Wow.., guilty based on that statement. Just a little different than the court of law. "Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt".

OMG! Mikesi, there are two standards in a court of law; 1) criminal standard - state must prove each and every element beyond and to the exclusion of every reasonable doubt, and 2) civil standard, to prevail the plaintiff must show that it's more likely than not (51% versus 49%) that he defendant breached a duty which was the proximate causation of the plaintiff's damages. Nobody accused Brady of a criminal violation so we are talking about the civil standard. So the question should be framed like this, Is it more likely than not that Tom Brady cheated? Clearly most reasonably objective observers would answer in the affirmative.

Didn't Aaron Rodgers say he likes the game balls to be overinflated? Should he get 4 games as well?
Sure, if you have any proof that he played any games with over inflated footballs and had knowledge of that fact (which you don't), however, just because he stated a preference doesn't equate to actually cheating by using over inflated footballs during a game.

I'm not a Patriot fan but still say this issue is overblown; I mean underblown or should
I say a bl-w job :)

Just install some policies for referees to better check footballs for being over or under inflated.
The Colts got their asses kicked. Penalty for this was over kill. Doesn't compare
to knocking out (beating) your wife (significant other) or child abuse.

By the way, I will have to say that one of the best cities to do a site-seeing vacation
in U.S. is Boston! Did it last June and it was outstanding!

I agree that wasn't the reason why the Colts lost so badly. It does beg the question however, why cheat at all if you didn't need to in order to win? It really only raises issues about the integrity of the Patriots and Tom Brady, involving how many other ways have they cheated and not been caught, think spy gate etc.... In the end it just gives their critics fodder to tarnish their legacy. I wonder if they think it was worth it now.

Why cheat?

I'm telling you it's the weirdest thing. I think it's some sort of addiction like gambling. They get a high out of beating the system and getting any edge needed or not. However, the stakes are too high, but I'm not sure if they really care about their legacy. They are very arrogant.

Yes.., Boston is definitely on
my list of cities in the U.S. to visit. I lived in NY for years, passed through it, but never took the time to explore it. Lots of great sites to see related to American History, etc., I hear. The people from there that i know are pretty cool and they say that food is excellent.
