Glock Gen 5 is released!!

.....and it's basically a Gen 4. With modified grip and an ambidextrous slide catch.

They're spending a ton on marketing to tell people that they've eliminated the finger grooves on the grip.

Its a great gun and all, but hardly worth an entire "generation" improvement. Maybe 4.1

These are basically the basic mods they made for the Army competition. So they figured why not make it the Gen 5.

However their Army submission had a safety. I don't know why they don't offer one in the commercial market
