It's sad how quickly this Program has fallen apart in less than 24 months. Hitt has to clean house, UCF needs a completely new staff without the stench of perennial losers like Calabrese and Key on the sideline
GOL has a firm grasp on what the problem is. Have patience. We are getting better.
These threads are pointless. There's no way GOL and Key make it past Dec. UCF is already hanging them out to dry over the contract stuff.
This chapter has to end soon. It's affecting players, students, and alumni' morale. More likely than not, affecting prospective recruits more than we can presently tell. This dumpster fire has the potential to affect season ticket holders as well. Negative perception locally and nationally. Fans turning onto each other. It's affecting me, I know that. I'm watching from the comfort of my home... 5 miles from UCF... I've had enough!

He is gone after the season. Unfortunately we have to pay out massive amounts of money. The guy can't ever go down with class.
Hopefully this is the last straw for the huggers. A coach can be good even great for a school but there comes a point where his message is completely lost and it is clear as day with how quickly this team quits. Any fan would be insane to want to give this guy another season or 2
I hope GOL goes out with class and doesn't milk UCF with the buyout money....
It's an embarrassment. A national embarrassment. I went to support my team for 2 quarters. It's ashame good barbecue and Bloody Mary's went to waste. I wouldn't be shocked at an announcement Monday. Something has to change
He hasn't had NFL alumni turn on him like Al Golden. So he's got that going for him.
It's because those players understand what our program is unlike most of the fans on here. Miami is on a different level then us so those players and fans have more of a right to be upset even if they have a winning record.

Same here Van Gogh. I live < 4 miles from campus. I've had season tix since graduating with my BSN in '00 (even upped them to premium seats this season) and I actually quit watching from the comfort of my home 2 minutes into the 3rd qrtr.
wrong. It's unacceptable for UCF to look like a bad D2 team. We don't need 140 character reactions from London on Twitter as some sort of validation. Ironically most of those NFL stars from the U don't give back to their Program(as a Private school this is desperately needed), they'll never be the same playing at Joe Robbie

I agree we shouldn't look as bad as we do but we don't have the pedigree of a Miami, the expectations of some fans would make you think we were on that level. We are a middle of the road program, we should be in contention for the conference title and a bowl each year not a New Years 6 one. We will have a cycle where things go well and we get that invite but also ones where we might miss out on a bowl. We should never be this bad though, we should at least get 4 wins a year.
It's pathetic to have the mentality expressed in your post. Until we have the utmost highest expectations and demand the best from our university and program, let's just sit it out.
It's a total embarrassment for UCF to have an empty stadium. What the F>>> is Hitt waiting for? No matter how GOL does from here on out no one will go to the games. He lost Orlando completely.
So we're supposed to expect 12-0 every year, win the conference title game and become playoff champion? I'm realistic and know the limitations of the program, I don't expect perfection nor incompetence which we are seeing this year. We can be competitive but to an extent, we can't go toe to toe with the top programs. Boise state doesn't go to one of the big time bowls each year, they are more consistent then us but also go to lesser bowls frequently.
I don't expect to go 12-0 each year. But call me "demanding" or "unrealistic" cause what I do expect us to go bowling each year, or at the very least, beat Furman for JC's sake!
Here's a random thought, is the assistant AD (who was GOL's employee a couple weeks ago) the one trying to get him to quit/fire him? If so that'd be awesome to see.
I bet UCFBS is tirelessly working the streets and phones trying to plead with the fans and parents to stay calm.
