Go Tulane.

I hope USC smashes them....but looks like they might get fortunate for the 3rd straight game against a backup or injured QB.
Why? USC is one of the douchiest fan bases on earth. A bunch of rich people that think way too much of themselves. I can’t even imagine the shit they would say to UCF fans if we had to play them.

Tulane did what they were supposed to do. Good for them.

A couple of reasons....I want to leave the conference with only us and Houston (also have a degree from there) having won NY6 bowls (you notice how they added that reference to NY6 wins to AAC commercials?). Let them join Memphis. Also spent alot of time on their boards and they come off like a usf fanbase, way overinflated opinion of their place in the college football landscape versus their actual accomplishments.

I wish the AAC success in the future, they were good for us as we were for them.

Your logic...

UCF < Tulane < USC

...it sucks.

Stop trying to spread it.

I went to a game at SC a few years ago and liked it. seemed laid back but I am sure you have some private school snobbery but Tulane has that too

Probably a cool place to see a game. I’m sure they have some good people too. I was on a flight from LA to Austin with USC and UCLA fans. I think they were both starting their seasons in Texas vs different schools. The UCLA guys were so laid back and fun, while the USC folks were condescending. Small sample size I know. I’m sure UCLA has their fair share of jerks too as does UCF. USC has always just been on a different level of rich kid a-holery.

Utah beat USC twice. USC is a highly talented finesse team with top-tier skill players. If you beat on them all day, like Utah did, you can control the time of possession. By the 4th quarter of that game USC was tackling like our secondary (in other words they weren’t). If Tulane can pound the rock with Spears at least 25 times I like their chances. Who knows what mindset USC players might have, especially if Williams doesn’t play.

One key question is the status of Williams, the Heisman Trophy frontrunner.

Riley described it Sunday as a “significant hamstring injury.”

“It’s good that we’re not playing probably in the next two to three weeks,” Riley said. “So we’ll try to rehab that. Hamstrings are different for everybody. But the nature of his is pretty severe. If we played the next couple of weeks, he most likely would not be available. We will have to see how it progresses.”

A sophomore transfer who came with Riley from Oklahoma, Williams has completed 66.1% of his passes for 4,075 yards. He has thrown 37 touchdowns to just four interceptions in 13 games.

“It would take a lot to keep me out,” Williams told the Los Angeles Times on Sunday.
