We can all lend a helping hand in recruiting.
We help by wearing our Knightwear often and everywhere.
We help by rocking the Bounce House on game day.
We help by selling our allotment of away game tickets and enthusiastically representing Knight Nation on the road.
We help by impressing broadcasters/networks with our viewership.
We help by setting record breaking attendance for certain bowl games and eye popping numbers at others.
We help by lighting the internet on fire with our raucous posts and setting the record straight for those who aren’t in the know.
We help by talking to casual sports fans about the many great performances by NFL players who were Built By UCF.
There are many ways we can all help in the process. Yes… Even our young recruits pick up on these things as the word gets out and the noise gets louder and louder.
Don’t underestimate the power of Knight Nation.
All of that except tv viewership. If you aren’t signed up to count towards numbers, doesn’t matter if you are watching. The numbers are estimates.
Perhaps a bit of estimating is involved but many people have posted on this board that viewership is no longer based on “Nielsen households” or the like.
With many events and shows only available on cable or satellite or streaming services, the viewership for these is a known quantity In today‘s digital world.
It’s always only been available on cable , satellite or streaming. But more people have antennas now than 20 years ago. Directv is not sending data on what everyone is watching every day. Nor Xfinity or most other cable providers.
