An exuberant WESH videographer asked GOL at the spring game what his thoughts were on the "pool area" that was being constructed (he was quickly corrected there would be no pool). GOL did take a dig at the placement, but that location was a necessity given the existing infrastructure.
"It doesn't affect my game. I don't know what's going on with that, I really don't. I know it's taking up my parking spaces for the fanbase. That's what I do know as the head coach because I hear those complaints. I'm anxious to see what's going to happen with that. I think it's hard to take 50-yard line seats. That's all. I'm sure they did a lot of studying on the subject. We'll see what happens. It'll work out."
