From Saturday's post practice interview:

"I do (like it). I don't worry about TV, I worry more about that it gives us a chance to get in a day early from a player standpoint. It also gives us an extra day with Stanford when we have to travel five hours. I'm just trying to think of the kids when we do that stuff. It gives them a Saturday to get their feet underneath them. Otherwise, we're back Sunday and then coming back the following week probably early in the morning. It's a long season. 10 straight games. Any time I can move the kids' schedule. I was disappointed we didn't have many Thursday, Friday night games to begin with. Athletic administration has to be on the same page. That's what I see. That's what you need for national recognition. We've got a good schedule. 10 weeks at a time, so you have to watch how you work the kids. It'll work out well."
