UCF takes on Houston this Saturday at 12 noon. Unbeaten team, ranked in top 25.

"One of the better teams I've seen. Obviously the QB is an outstanding player."

Marc mentions the dramatic finishes in the past vs. Houston.

"On the goal line. That QB got them back into the game. I thought last game, Temple, had opportunities. Defense played well, but 22-16 you gotta get the ball back. They did improve. They got to sustain a whole game. That's been the issue, talking to Coach Bresnahan about that. Offensively, we had the opportunity. You get the ball on 20, 29, 41, you gotta come away with more than three points."

More on offense:

"Who are your playmakers? When you look at it, where do you go? Receivers, running backs? OL got better in some areas, but others they're giving up too many big plays. Not five guys, one guy, but not always the same guy. Gotta coach them, do what you're paid to do. They are getting better. When you're 0-7 you gotta watch attitude and make sure kids play with great effort. They're gonna do what they're supposed to do with great effort."

On Justin Holman:

"I thought he got hit in the hand early in the game. He was airing some passes. He's played better. Some catches got to be made. The big thing is he's got to continue working. He's played better games. As I told him, you gotta continue being who you are, you can't go out of sync. Some of his throws and some reads he had."

On the Shaquill Griffin pick-six:

"Finally. 14-10, we get the ball on the 20. We drop a catch on the goal line. That drives me nuts. Things we practice, then game time we've got to execute. Missed opportunities. I thought the play of the game was the punt. Whatever you do, kick it out of bounds or on the side, not in the middle of the field. We missed four tackles on that. That was really the difference. They were dead in the water, stands, fanbase, and we let them back in the game."

Offense struggling:

"Some plays were there, we didn't make the right read. Justin has done too many good things . I did warm up the other guys, but there was no time (to get them in)."

On WR Cam Stewart and D'erren Wilson:

"They have to run through the catch. Too many stopping and diving at balls. We're practicing all the time. You're gonna take a hit, but you run through the catch. They're either diving or stopping. Run through the catch."

Temple was young and has matured into a good team:

"The punt return was the big moment, put them back in the game. Their sideline was dead. We gotta go on the field and make a play. Have a chance to make a play on second down, you've got to make it. One guy, two guys, but they've got to make plays when the opportunity is there."
