"UCF Sports Today with George O'Leary" is currently airing on My65.

"I thought we came out and they utilized the game plan very well. Offensively we went right down the field, quick passing game, the runs, we were mixing it up well, then the young freshmen turns it over on a fumble for a TD. Defensively, we were running around and tackling people. The kids executed the game plan how it was drawn up, offensively and defensively. We're up 10-7 and they score to make it 14-10, from that point on, this team is amazing to me. Something happens and you have to start being a cheerleader on the sidelines. The lack of leadership starts to show. From that point, you'd have thought we were down 50 points. We didn't play the same like we did in the first 26 minutes of the game. That's been the problem this year with the players."

On the early performance of the defense:

"We tackled well. I spoke about it all week. Plastering receivers. We were keeping him contained. That was the key. Keeping Ward inside the pocket. We got into trouble with the ends didn't contain and we stopped plastering people. That was addressed at halftime. We got down quick scores because of turnovers. The second half, we were a completely different team."

The run game had some things going in the first half:

"Brent Key, I thought the mix or run/pass was outstanding, kept them off balance. Same way defensively. The second half is a comedy of missed tackles, not moving the line of scrimmage on the offensive side. I hear the coaching going on. At some time there has to be a "want to." That's one thing I'm not seeing. I know we're young and some kids shouldn't be out there, but the coaches can only do so much. They stopped making plays in the second half."

First half highlights are shown.

On the DL:

"I thought we bottled up the run game. The second half, the midpoint game, goes back to two linebackers not making plays they need to make. They didn't do anything different, we did. We didn't attack gaps. You hear it being corrected on the sidelines. There has to be a "want to." The team is driving me crazy with that. You can only do so much. Your job is to do the assignment, not do what you want to do. There's undisciplined stuff on boths ides of the ball. They didn't change. Linebackers didn't make those plays that they have to make."

More on how things fell apart:

"Every game this year has been the same way. As a head coach you go back, what can you do to help the kids. What can you say to help them? You're looking at situations. GUys are in position to make plays and we're not making them, whether it's lack of strength and the youth, football is a game of making plays and we're not making enough plays, especially in the second half. The end result is what happened. The offense had to be moving the chains which they did, we had more yards than they did the first half, second half you can't be three-and-out. Defensively, you have to make plays."
