If you watched or read the quotes from GOL's Thursday post-practice interview, he referenced some stats he keeps and why it's important to be able to run for more than 150 yards in a game. He invited us to back to his office to take a look at them. So we did - by "we" I mean myself and Shannon from the Sentinel.

I've been in his office a few times. Not a lot, since usually he'll come out to the lobby for interviews. Maybe it's been a year. I saw a bunch of his hats, so naturally I asked if the Hawaii Bowl hat was among the stash. I commented that I was a big fan of that hat, as were the fans, and hope that it makes an appearance again soon. He said it was in his locker, so maybe he'll bring it out again soon (Fan Day?).

Who says O'Leary wasn't a fan of the tiki bar? He owns one! LOL - that's actually a place down in Sarasota.

And see that hat in the middle? It says "UCF Football Head Coach." It's hard to see, but it's actually a Siamese Twin Hat Contraption - it's a double-sided hat. Manny had it made for him because GOL "now wears two hats." He modeled it for me:

But back to the real reason we were in the office - the stats. Here they are:

Oh, if you don't like playing on Thanksgiving you're not a real fan and a FIW.*
