Good progress made in game two. Something to build on

* Taj had a great game
* Offensive line made some holes
* Solid defense in first half. Good play calling and improved execution. How many big time hits did we have on their QB? Nice.
* Disciplined football - few penalties. Unlike that mess of Stanford.
* LB's and secondary made some nice plays

Overall, I'm encouraged by the progress from game one to game two. I thought the coaches and the players all stepped up their game. That's what you want to see. Still a long way to go, but heading in the right direction.

Way to stay positive. We saw our two back Qb's as well. They have potential. Hope UCF can improve by conference play. 1-3 looks likely up to that point. Stanford was beatable last night if they were playing a better football team. They had so many mistakes. That one flea flicker they threw for the first TD was the confidence building momentum swing they needed.

Agree. On paper, we should have lost this game by 40 after Justin Holman went out. Our defense got tired, but man in that first half were making some nice plays. For a young squad without a lot of senior ballers, I thought it was a solid improvement from game one.

Danny definitely has something to work with in Schneider and Harris. I had flashbacks to our other great pocket passing QB named Schneider - Ryan Schnieder that came in the Alabama game back in the day for a big win. Great game day experience for both of them.
