Marvin Washington
For Orlando Dr. Phillips quarterback Marvin Washington it was simple.
He wanted to attend UCF and play his college football at home. All he needed was a scholarship offer. He got it on Saturday.
"There's no point in waiting ... just go ahead and do it," Washington said Monday afternoon, just before calling new UCF head coach Scott Frost to deliver the news. "Everything checked out for me as far as recruiting and what I like about the school. I don't see any point in waiting and my coaches agree with me and my parents agree with me.
"That's why I'm just going to go ahead and get it over with and become a Knight."

Gabe Davis
After UCF's 7-on-7 tournament this weekend, Gabe Davis knows exactly where he stands with the Knights, and UCF, likewise, stands No. 1 with him.
The 2017 Sanford Seminole wide receiver learned more from new head coach Scott Frost and his staff and it was made clear to him that the Knights want him in the black and gold.
"They really love me, they think I'm a beast on the field and they really want me to come here," Davis said. "It's my No. 1 option right now because it's close to home, I can see my mom and my mom can see me play, and my family can and so we'll see what happens at the end of the summer ... I plan on committing by then."

DJ Artis
Demarco 'D.J.' Artis has plenty of incentive to play his college football at UCF. The coaching staff absolutely loves him and one of his best friends is already on the team.
If it were just that simple for the 2017 Sanford Seminole star.
Artis, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end was made even more aware of UCF's desire to see him in a Knights uniform in the future during a visit to campus for the UCF 7-on-7 tournament this past Saturday. In fact, head coach Scott Frost brought him and teammate WR Gabe Davis into his office and told them both as much.
