Great article, need to make it go viral

Maybe Danny White's next hire at UCF needs to be Mike Bianchi as Director of Marketing because he seems to be the only person publicly making the push for UCF and the Big 12!!!

My hypothesis is that Bianchi is actually a long ago superceded IBM chess playing computer, generating predictable columns after every dog whistle in the sports echo chamber. Columns write themselves, complete with the obligatory "why am I the only one to see this so clearly?"

Thank You Bianchi for all the support over the years with the Big 12 expansion, using your voice for UCF....CHARGE ON!!!!!!

If I've written it once, I've written it a million times: Orlando is the biggest TV market in America without an NFL team. Most big cities are terrible college football towns (see Miami, Houston, Philly, etc.) because their local universities are competing with a glut of pro sports teams. Local college football teams are an afterthought in Houston, Tampa and Cincinnati because they are dwarfed by the king of all sports — the NFL.

UCF doesn't need political types and Disney campaigning publicly like carnival barkers for UCF. UCF is doing that in front of the B12 personally. Plus, how do you know that Disney and the mayors aren't already working with UCF? It's a process and UCF isn't going to need public figures to publicly campaign for UCF. Trust that Hitt is on it.

If they are aggressively pursuing the BIG 12, they are keeping it very quiet. Other teams are using all means of media. I hear very little coming out of our coaches, the community, our donors and especially our administration. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign!

It's not a public vote. The B12 presidents are all that need to be sold and UCF has provided them all they need to know in person. Plenty of media both locally and nationally have written tons on UCF.

You didn't have time to. Los Angeles lacked an NFL team (by choice!) for the past 25 years. Now, it's St. Louis that lacks one: its Rams are back in L.A. and its Cardinal are in Phoenix. When I was a kid, the Rams were in Cleveland, Lakers in Minnesota, and Dodgers in Brooklyn. Wait! The L.A. hockey Kings are moving to Vegas for two years.

The Rams were last in Cleveland in 1945, I believe. So.., you're 75-80 or older. Just getting the feel of who I'm blogging with.
