I’m driving over for that annual referee payoff exchange we call the UCF/Tulsa game. After all, somebody has to drop off the bag of money to frustrate you into a Baker Act.

How much should an ol’ sodbusting Okie like the Huffster pay to park near your fine aluminum showcase of superior athletic talent?

Stubhub has passes going for $30 to $60, which seems absurd. What’s parking typically go for? I haven’t been to a game over there in maybe 3 years and dont recall paying anything.

It’s a good thing we don’t play again until like 2024 unless it’s a conference championship and you guys are still around, TU can’t afford to buy wins like this every year.

We didn’t win this game. You guys beat yourselves. All of the strength, conditioning and nutrition folks need to clean out their offices.

We were shorter, but stronger and quicker on the defensive line. That’s where the game was won. We don’t give academic waivers for players and we don’t have a dedicated dining facility. You got pushed around by 3 undersized guys rushing 5 who got a 3.74 gpa in high school and eat dorm food with the coeds and weren’t allowed to work out over the summer. That should never happen.

It was nice being back on your campus and we left before Tulsa took the lead. Looking forward to coming back when it’s not pouring rain and daylight.

Your in game production value is excellent by the way. Even in an empty stadium with half a band and no cheerleaders, the hype guy and the promotions kept people entertained. You’ve spent money there and it shows. It’s a long way from 2007.

Anyhoo. Not here to gloat. I’ll stop by from time to time to say hello. Take care.

Definitely agree with the above, but don't discount this Tulsa team. Ya'll nearly knocked off a soon to be Top 10 Oklahoma State team. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game though, can't say the same for myself, horrifically undisciplined.

And no offense, but 2024 is about a hundred years too soon to play you all again. Give me a damn heart attack every single time.

Being a Tulsa fan carries with it a curious responsibility to be kinda low key middle class country club elitist in a good natured way. Very understand, “been there, done that, used to be great, always been small” vibe.
