Have to make this thing happen. saban has taken two azz beatings already and is primed for a third from Gus.

This Tulane game is going to be another slobber-knocker. UCF needs all-hands-on-deck. I don't think Tulane is as talented as its record indicates because the Green Wave have not faced as tough of competition as the Knights have.

Still I am impressed with Tulane's first-year offensive coordinator Jim Svoboda, who has posted 24 points or more in every contest save one, and it is another road game.

UCF needs to get healthy as possible and have everybody ready to go against Tulane. It could be a defensive struggle, but the pundits are saying take the over.

I hope Gus is willing to play Keene, JRP, and even Thomas Castellanos, if necessary, to get the W. It is do-or-die. Burn the kid's redshirt to secure a NY6 bowl if the situation demands it.

Also, no more 64-yard field goal attempts. Fifty-four yarders will suffice: https://www.outkick.com/ucf-football-memphis-64-yard-field-goal-colton-boomer-gus-malzahn/

And one more thing...

UCF vs Bama would be an interesting match up!

UCF needs to keep winning. Tulane will be a tough game. I watched Tulane @Tulsa. Tulane's offense looks very good. Qb and Rb good. They move the ball efficiently. Defense wasn't that bad either. There were hardly anyone in the stands @tulsa.

DOMINATING the best in-state Power 5 program is not a bad consolation prize for a potential Tulane loss.

One wild card for G5 NY6 bowl game is Liberty. They beat @arkansas yesterday and are 8-1. They weren't in the CFP top 25 but were in both the AP/Coach poll. They probably will be in CFP top 25 now with a win against SEC team.

They cannot win a CCG as they dont play in a conference so how does that work if the requirement is highest ranked Conference Champion gets the NY6?

Saw one projection for the Cotton Bowl with us against USC. I’ve always wanted to see us play one of those traditional west coast teams (USC, UCLA or Oregon).
But we have a long way to go before that might happen.
Back to focusing on Tulane ⚔️⚔️.

Liberty cannot get that spot because they are an independent. But for now we have to beat Tulane on the road, Navy who we lost too last year and possibly Tulane or Cincy again.

Also Tulane's QB and RB is the entire offense. They rely a lot of the running back Spears. But watching Pratt play he can throw but he cannot move. We can rush him all day long. Kinda like the Cincy QB.

Not so fast my friends...

WE DO WANT BAMA.

I can foresee Bama NFL talent sitting the bowl game out. Plus, they are down this year.

Everyone thought Georgia, Baylor, Auburn, Gators were going to crush lil' ole UCF in the past bowl games...

Stop being so pessimistic. We want to play the best team in the Bowl game that is available.

And, of course we gotta beat Tulane and the rest of the games. DUH....

We have a Coach that has previous experience in beating Nick Saban and this is what we want, right?

The Future of College Football is scared to play big ole Bama?

Plus, all time series UCF 1 BAMA 0...we were suppose to lose that game as well.

You negi-nancies can go back to the Cure Bowl. I'll be in the Cotton Bowl against BAMA ! (Football Gawds Willing).

I am optimistic but even a wounded Alabama team is a great team. I see our OL being the biggest worry if we were to play Alabama. I'm of the opinion that if we do play someone, it will be Tennessee. It will be billed as we have sour grapes against Heupel. We should know the playbook pretty well too.

Tulane is a tough team and we struggle on the road. One game at a time. Beat Tulane first and concentrate on the next game. Nothing else.

Breaking News: It's okay for fans to look ahead and speculate the future. It's what makes sport's discussions interesting. There is another thread I started on Tulane. I don't see you 'concentrate on next game' folks on that one. Just ribbing ya'll...I'm stoked that UCF is still in the game. Hopefully, the team is focused on the 'next game'....but, I'm also looking at my calendar is open to travel to the Cotton Bowl....just in case...

Everyone understands the importance of Saturday's game, but dare to dream! The Knights have a team to be proud of. Expect to win.

Things could be a lot worse ...
