Hairy Caterpillars Falling from the Sky!!!

Has anyone ever experienced these little fukers? They take over everything and sting. I remember them from 15-20 years ago at the old shop/office of our company but never like this. There are literally millions of them over everything on my property. How do you kill them?

They like the shade (they only collect on the north and under cover) but I'm not going to raze my property to get rid of them. I went through six gallons of bug killer and that's knocking them down but there are still millions more in all the oak trees. They're just sitting up there eating and shitting all over everything.

Yeah the cocoons are bad. They're already starting and they're not easy to remove. My neighbors have a few here and there but nothing like what I have.

I'm going to soak everything in bug killer next Feb. I did have these when I first moved in in 2009 but not as bad, just a few here and there. We had really cold winters back then for a few years and that must kill them off. The last couple years there have only been a handful of nights below freezing.

We used to have issues with crap migration on the Indian River around our house years ago when I lived on the coast. Literally the road would be loaded with them. Never had a caterpillar outbreak.
