No. That was the Pennsylvania case. The Texas case is docketed for review today. 50-50 they actually hear it, but it only takes 4 justices to do that so its not out of the realm of possibility on something like this.
The ONLY way the SCOTUS would dare touch this laughable lawsuit is if they want to make a statement about how idiotic this nonsense is.
The very credibility of the Supreme Court itself would be at stake if they were to decide to step into this mess.

I have to say, it took some serious balls for the Texas AG to file this on behalf of OTHER STATES. I'm sure the fair citizens of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona love the idea of Texas appealing to the Supreme Court to take away their votes.
Safe harbor day isn't an official date. If you don't believe me, you might believe RBG saying it in the Gore v Bush case....so much for this last-gasp effort.

The Texas suit isn't strictly on behalf of the citizens of those states.
Why in the hell is the TEXAS AG carrying Trump's water on this one? Trump WON Texas for crying out loud!!!! Christ, Trump can't even get an AG in one of the states that is the focus of this lawsuit to step forward.
And by the way, the Texas AG has been involved in some illegal hanky-panky so it's assumed this lawsuit is his attempt to garner Trump's favor and be issued a pardon.
It boggles the mind that the SCOTUS went so far as to ask for a response from the four states instead of simply dismissing it out of hand. If I were one of those state's AGs, I'd be asking the SCOTUS WTF TEXAS has to do with my state's voting process??!?
Scotus pretty much can't do that in cases like this because they don't come up through appeals. They have to get at least a response from the defendant.
Okay, that makes sense. I suspect their ultimate response will be as short and as sweet as it was to the Pennsylvania lawsuit.
I think they'll probably grant a hearing on some of the issues but not all, and the ruling will be pretty narrow. Not enough to move the needle, unless Roberts writes it.
If the Trump group can’t ever present their evidence in court, then at least they can make a sweet YouTube vide with all their evidence, oh wait...
The Texas lawsuit is, by all accounts, an idiot publicity stunt that should be thrown out without a second thought.
So when 18 AGs sign on to this moronic lawsuit (including my state's dumbass AG), you have to start to wonder about how bedrock our democracy really is.
A 'spokesman' for our AG told reporters -- with a straight face -- that this is a time when Americans have to 'step up and defend the Constitution.' I kid you not.
It's a lame attempt to curry favor for a Presidential pardon.

I doubt the SCOTUS even takes the case. If they find anything positive the results would be horrid in remedy.
