Has any player in the history of UCF had as much press as Shaquem?

Has anyone ever deserved it more? Every press outlet is running stories on him at the Senior Bowl. Even Daunte did not get this this kind of coverage. What a great ambassador he is for UCF.

His name is.....Daunte. Yeah, he got as much pub. I mean, it;s the internet age so there is a lot more "media" out there but I think Daunte probably garnered more press.

Even Daunte did not get this this kind of coverage. What a great ambassador he is for UCF.

Only because the internet was in its infancy in 1999. Daunte was a HUGE deal and was in the mix for the first overall pick.

I think Daunte is responsible for making UCF a household name or at the very least someone to associate with the casual fan back then.
He made UCF realize how much college football can generate for the school. I remember some 20 years ago, Marshall bought an ad in Times Square to promote their QB for the Heisman.
