"Heavy Metal Diplomacy" is official. Overthrust, from Botswana, in November.

Overthrust will be flying into Orlando, From Gabarone, Botswana on November 18th, will take a day of rest for jet-lag for the 19th. Recording for the Netflix Documentary commences the second they step into the terminal. They will record their album, with Howie Beno producing, at Indian River Music Company November 20 - December 1st. Days will be taken off from recording to attend attractions, and the UCF/USF game on Nov 24th (Cabana) for their first-ever American Football game.

I am trying to see about getting them on the field as their trip over to bring awareness to their cause via SGA, and their concert on the 25th will be benefiting a yet-to-be-named charity that assists with getting life-essentials to hard-hit economic zones in Botswana.

That is what is crazy about it all....it is absolutely crazy. The second they get off the plane, because of their style, they will get immediate "WTF" looks. The idea, which they are completely in on, is throwing all conventional stereotypes out the window.

They can benefit greatly with a GOOD producer...

Bones...it's called "death metal" for a reason. I know you don't like it. We all know you don't like it. It's like Sushi...many people don't eat the raw stuff, and that is ok.

I don't like Polka...but I know there are DAMN good Polka singers...

That said, his voice is PERFECT for the genre...he needs to hit pitch a little better, and control it more...plus he plays guitar while doing it.

They are either one extreme or the other...we need in-between. Very hard with a bunch of hippies that either wail or whine.
