Here's a look at how the 2013 Big East Conf might look like, using 2011-2012 figures.

NOTE: Big East plays 9 conf home games while CUSA and A-10 play 8. Some Big East teams average 2,000-3,000 more per conf home game than they do for non-conf home games...so the new Big East teams should see a nice bounce in attendance during their first few years in the conf and hopefully the Big East will keep an 18 game conf schedule.

2011-2012 Conf Game Attendance looking at 2013-2014 Big East Line-up:

1) Louisville 22,038
2) Memphis 16,696
3) Marquette 16,040
4) Connecticut 13,517
5) Georgetown 12,994
6) Cincinnati 10,907
7) Villanova 10,336
8) St. John's 9,868
9) Providence 9,667
10) DePaul 9,415
11) Notre Dame 8,653
12) Seton Hall 8,362
13) Temple 7,177
14) UCF 6,836
15) Rutgers 6,451
16) USF 5,015
17) Houston 4,135
18) SMU 2,104

UCF's attendance should take a nice jump due to a lot more season tix sold, plus, scores of Big East fans/alumni that live in the Orlando area that will attend their teams' games at UCF.

Against CUSA opponents, UCF was lucky if 10 visiting fans showed up at those games...while at USF, visiting Big East fans have showed up by the THOUSANDS in the past (especially Notre Dame and UCONN).

KL,

What were your attendance figures before moving in to your new arena?

Just curious.
