I really thought that hitchhiking was obsolete, but the other day I saw a guy hitchhiking in Oldsmar, FL (near Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor). Does anyone else still see people hitchhiking?

Yes, daily. I've never seen anyone picking one up but I always see people with their thumb out. All over the state too, not just my white trash town.
Wow, really? I used to see people hitchhiking near the exits on 75 and 95 (not really much on I-4), but it's probably been 10 years or so since I last saw someone doing it. The location of this guy intrigued me too since I really only remember seeing people hitchhiking on major highways/interstates.
