- Since debuting in the national polls on Feb. 17, the Black and Gold have remained in the top 20 for 10 consecutive weeks. The Knights landed at No. 15 in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll and at No. 16 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll this week.
- The UCF pitching staff has had the lowest earned run average in the NCAA for seven consecutive weeks. The Knights have a combined 0.87 ERA, coming in ahead of second-place Central Connecticut State with a 1.48 ERA. Junior Shelby Turnier leads the nation with a 0.74 ERA, while senior Mackenzie Audas ranks sixth with a 0.98. The Knights are the only team with two pitchers that rank in the top ten individually and have an ERA below 1.00.
- The Knights are on pace to set a program record for the single-season team batting average. The UCF offense has turned up the heat at the plate and the Black and Gold are batting .301 on the season. If the Knights can maintain their hot-hitting, UCF will post the first single-season team batting average above .300 in program history.
- UCF leads the country with 20 shutouts on the season, passing their total from 2014 with three regular season games remaining.
- Last season, the Black and Gold captured the first regular season conference title in the inaugural American Athletic Conference campaign. The Knights earned the first back-to-back titles in program history in the second year in the league.
- UCF Softball is outscoring its opponents 241-59. The Knights have only given up more than two runs in a game seven times this season
