The amount of injuries dating back to spring camp for this team has been staggering. Just a quick recap of who UCF has lost this year so far for reasons we know:

Luke Hiers (signee who greyshirted due to surgery - will start in the spring)
Miles Pace (transferred)
Demetris Anderson (injured for season)
Taylor Oldham (injured, but could return in a couple of weeks)
Chris Williams (on leave from program after being shot)
Chavis Dickey (allegedly caught pneumonia in fall camp)
Joseph Puopolo (injured, no timetable for return)
Jordan Akins (torn ACL, done for the year)
Justin Holman (dislocated finger, could return soon)
Dontravious Wilson (injured in 1st game, timetable unknown for return)
Jordan Franks (broke hand in fall camp, but has made way onto the field in a cast)
Joey Grant (injured shoulder again, dressed but didn't play at Stanford, watched Furman game from stands)
Kevin Miller (quit)
Chris Davis (quit)
Micah Reed (transferred)

And for reasons we don't:
DJ Killings (still listed as 1st team CB, but hasn't played since FIU)
William Stanback (post today suggests he's done)

Through 3 games, this seems like an excessive amount. No?
